God gave Minister Jones the vision of Godspiration, an innovative ministry with the purpose of reaching the poor, vulnerable and excluded people in our society. Godspiration mission is to help build up of the Body of Christ through bible study, evangelism, preaching, workshops, plays, films, and entrepreneurship projects that affirms the therapeutic power of Jesus Christ. Minister Jones hopes to incorporate her love for the gospel and her love of art and drama to bring glory to God, with products and plays that promote the Word of God.
Minister Tawaunna Jones is a teacher, designer as well as a Writer and Editor for various publications as The Anointed Path, Metropolitan News, Godspiration Newsletter and Street Sense Newspapers. She is the Producer of the project, Coffee with Minister Tee and the author of the book, Single, in a Double Bed. In 1992, Tawaunna was called to preached the Gospel and in September 1997 she preached her licensed sermon. She earned a Degree of Fine Arts from the Paris Fashion Institute in Paris France and a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Faith Bible College and Seminary.

Godspiration mission is to bring high quality and culturally diverse performances, workshops and artists to churches, communities, at-risk youth, seniors and special needs populations. Our participants will gain knowledge and skills to enhance their natural abilities to enable them to build confidence and self esteem. We seek to empower people and engender self reliance through drama, music, writing, dance, art, video and stage productions

Godspiration is an outreach organization dedicated to bringing high quality and culturally diverse performances, art and workshops to schools and communities, at-risk youth, seniors, and special needs populations throughout Maryland, the District of Columbia and Virginia.

Our mission is to carry out Jesus Great Commission, to spread the truth of Jesus, to educate Christian disciples and with them gather the harvest. Scope of Activities
• Arts-in-Education and Community Outreach
Facilitating the connection between top-quality artists (local and traveling through) and schools, libraries, community centers, and other performance venues throughout Maryland, D.C., and Virginia - representing a wide range of cultural traditions and artistic disciplines
• Project Youth ArtReach
Bringing dynamic visual, literary and performing arts programs to middle schools, high schools, as well as youth detention centers - including hands-on workshops, artist residencies, leadership training, and performance opportunities. Click here for further information.
• Arts for Life! Outreach to Seniors and Special Needs Populations
Bringing high quality and culturally diverse arts performances and workshops to senior centers, nursing homes, residential care facilities, hospitals, centers serving children and adults with developmental disabilities, and other special needs facilities
• After School Programs / Performing Arts Residencies / Community Concerts
Facilitating after-school programs and evening sessions (visual, literary and performing arts) for all ages, short and long-term artist residencies, often culminating in daytime and/or evening presentations
• Family Nights, Festivals, Fundraisers & Commemorative Celebrations of Heritage Months
